How has the reception been to new music?
Really positive so far, which is nice. Some of the best reviews we’ve had yet, which is making us really excited to show off the rest of the album.
What are you looking forward to most when you perform in front of an audience this year?
We learned more of the funnest things to play live: the bombast, the fast tempos, the singable choruses. We took a lot of our favorite things about the first album, and playing them live, and turned the dial to 10 for this one. We’re really excited to be on stage for some of these new songs.
What was the intention set for your music?
Above all else, keep ourselves entertained more than whatever we just finished doing.
What was the most important message to impart with your music?
After the last two years, we really wanted to communicate solidarity with those who struggled with everything that’s happened. We didn’t want to preach or proselytize some message of endurance. But we struggled ourselves, and if talking about our own struggles makes some people feel less alone in theirs? That’s important to us.

What is a song of yours that you have on repeat right now to set the mood for 2022?
Our next single, that we just finished mixing. It should release sometime before the album does on Halloween!
