Do you have some hot new sounds in the works right now with your music?

Yes! I'm really trying to hone in on what my sound should be and incorporating all my influences into the mix. I really want something that is unique but still connects to the music that I grew up loving and listening to.

Is it difficult to release new music?

It really can be especially if you're doing it all on your own. There's a lot of moving parts that go into it and a lot of financial issues as well so it just takes planning and commitment and diligence. It's definitely not for the faint of heart!

What kind of sounds have changed from previous music?

Country has always been a huge influence of mine but lately I've been wanting to tap more into the gospel and soulful music that had a big impact on me as well.

Is there ever a moment you want to change something in your music last minute?

All the time! I'm always trying to change something or "fix" this one part but a lot of times I have to let go and be a little more relaxed with it.

Would you consider yourself a perfectionist?

I definitely can be especially when it comes to music and my vocals. I have to remind myself that there is beauty in imperfections too.

Never take yourself too seriously! Just enjoy what you're doing and don't put so much pressure on yourself.
