The Singer/Songwriter Riley Resa talks about her latest EP, helping people through hard times through her music and feeling supported by family!

It's Riley Resa! Thanks for taking the time! Tell us what you have going on right now with your music?!

Thank you so much for having me! I just released my first EP “Riley Resa” on all streaming platforms! At the moment I am writing as much as I can! Name the release that shocked you with the reactions it got? Why? I think my first original song “Broken” is the release that shocked me most with the reactions it got. “Broken” is about my bullying experience in my first year of high school and what I went through to overcome it. I am really happy with the reactions because I have been told it has helped people through hard times! A lot of times during performances, “Broken” is actually requested! Is there more pressure performing in front of fans or fellow artists when you get to go LIVE?!

I would say for me it’s harder to perform in front of fellow artists because they know exactly what to look for when it comes to mistakes. While with the fans, they are there to support me and that really comforts me! What is something positive that someone close to you did for you that left a lasting impression? I think the thing that sticks with me the most is the fact that my family completely supports my music. It is really important to have people supporting you in this industry and I am very thankful that my family does. You have a new EP "Riley Resa" which is SO good!
