How is your year starting off musically?

I hit the ground running with music at the start of this year. I’ve been super busy working on my EP which I’m SO hyped about- but also writing some new music that I hope to drop around summer time. Just… lots of creativity going around and I love it! How has the reception been to new music?

I’ve built a pretty supportive fan base over the past few months which is awesome. It started as a few friends and has grown to include people all over the world! Big shoutout to the internet for that. People seem to be liking my single that I have out- I’m just so excited to share other sides of myself. What are you looking forward to most when you perform this single in front of an audience?

Performing still gives me butterflies! I hope the songs on my EP resonate with people in a way that we can all kinda vibe out on the same wavelength while I perform. A crowd that’s fully invested is the greatest thing in the world. What was the intention set for dropping your new music?

My main goal was to introduce myself as an artist in a way that feels authentic to me, and that I am proud of and can stick by. The last thing I want is to have to pretend to be someone I’m not for the sake of a music career. I think we’ve been pretty successful in bringing across my genuine energy in the EP and content coming out. :) What is the most important message to impart with your music?

You’re not alone in all the chaos of life. Growing up and coming to terms with adulthood and… who you are- it’s scary. But we’re all there and we’re all experiencing the uncertainty… I want the songs I write to bring some of the harder aspects of young adulthood to light while still finding a way to maintain good vibes. It’s a challenge but I think I’ve succeeded! How do you want your fans to treat themselves after listening to your music?

Do something you used to LOVE as a kid! Just because we’ve gotten older doesn’t mean our imagination and energy has to dissipate. Keep your childlike spirit as long as you can! What is a song of yours that you have on repeat right now to set the mood for 2022?

Honestly? Aloha, E Komo Mai (The Lilo and Stitch Theme Song)… it’s all about finding a chosen family and making the most out of life, instead of sitting in the feeling of loneliness. It may sound silly but blast that song in the car and tell me it doesn’t make you smile.
