My town is ever growing with more and more talented artists every day. As a tourist town we have a pretty great variety of talent here between, punk, rock, reggae, country and pop artists making moves and playing regularly in venues. It's exciting to see that music culture is growing a bit every year.

What hot sounds in the city should fans be listening to of yours right now?

My new single "Bad Bitches Like Me." Out August 19th!

How has the reception been to new music?

I've been lucky to have a group of people coming to see me play live on a regular basis. I've been able to test out and sing new music at these shows. I feel like they're all as excited as me to finally have some of these songs available to stream. I'm lucky to have a huge amount of support and camaraderie from my community.

What are you looking forward to most when you perform in front of an audience this year?

I'm excited to be playing in some places I've never played like Pittsburgh and NYC, this October. I can't wait to meet new people and share a bit of my story through my music.

What was the intention set for your music?

When I'm writing for myself as an artist I always try to be as authentic as possible. I want the heart and lyrics to ring true to who I am.

What was the most important message to impart with your music?

I feel like a lot of my songs are just my personality, set to music. The number one thing I always want people to take away from a song or a show is, to be yourself. Most of my life people tried to tell me who to be, what to be, how to be and to hell with that! That's not good for anyone. There is only one YOU on the planet. Be that! The world needs that, the world needs YOU!

How do you want your fans to treat themselves after listening to your music?

I love the idea of people listening to my songs and walking away with strong shoulders, a pep in their step or just a feeling of "Here I am, take it leave it, either way I'm moving forward."

What is a song of yours that you have on repeat right now to set the mood for the rest of 2022?

I would have to say, "Bad Bitches Like me." If I start to doubt my direction I tell myself the same thing, "Here I am, take it leave it, either way I'm moving forward."
